On the one hand, I don't like preordering games. Crusader Kings 3 mod lets you play as an immortal vampire. They're also promising that there will be the Paradox standard free content patches concurrent with major expansion releases. No real way of knowing what they mean by that until they announce what their expansions may entail, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking at significant map expansions down the road to allow for things like playable Japan. Major expansions will supposedly have a much larger scope than DLC has had in Paradox games before. Small DLC will apparently be flavor stuff with narrow focuses, priced at $7. Apparently their scope is different this time around. Previous Paradox games had small content DLC for $10 and major expansions for $20.
Season pass will be available after launch for $35. Royal Edition Preorder: $75 (includes season pass for the first major DLC and two flavor packs)
